It was good to see that our film struck a chord in Trump’s America.

After CIFF, it was time for BIFFF, the Brussels International Festival of Fantasy Films, now in its 35th year.
BIFFF is unlike any other film festival, with some of the loudest and most engaged audiences in the world. It’s not for the fainthearted and shy filmmaker, since every guest is required to perform a song in front of an audience of 800 or more screaming, clapping and cheering enthusiasts:
Jörg sang a rendition of Jacques Brel’s “Bonbons” and threw hundreds of sweets into the audience. It went down a treat.
After the screening, Jörg engaged in a vivid Q&A and was honoured to receive a gorgeous gift from festival director Freddy Bozzo, a signed limited edition Tarquin print:
Then the sweets started raining down again…
Last but not least, our film also just screening at Nashville Film Festival, which sadly we couldn’t attend due to scheduling conflicts.
But, fear not, we will soon be back in the United States, since THE WHITE KING has just landed an awesome distributor. More news closer to Cannes Film Festival.
